Blender Workshop

In an effort to help our patrons better, Laura, Adriana, and Anna recently attended a training workshop about Blender – the 3D creation software we have in Studio 300. The session was held at Workshop 88, a makerspace located in downtown Glen Ellyn, IL. The workshop covered Blender basics such as keyboard shortcuts, the user interface, and basic modeling. Using their new skills, the budding 3D modelers created a coffee cup using the Blender software.

The next step is to export the model and make the cup using Studio 300’s 3D printer. If you are interested in learning more about Blender, visit us in Studio 300 and ask us to help you get started.
